If received in writing by December 15, 2018, RFMA will refund your meeting registration. Refunds will not be made after December 15, 2018 or for no-shows. No. Email confirmation for your badges will be sent in advance of the meeting to all persons registered by February 1, 2019. Registered attendees will receive a badge preview for approval followed by an email with the Express Registration bar code. The bar code included on this confirmation will greatly speed your process through self-registration or the registration customer service area.

Persons registering after February 1, 2019, should bring a copy of their email confirmation to the meeting to pick-up a badge onsite. 

The RFMA 2019 Annual Conference is open to restaurant facility professionals. To attend the conference as a Restaurant attendee, you must be full time employee of restaurant company. If asked by RFMA, Restaurant attendees must be able to provide proof of current employment status with a restaurant company in order to register in this attendee type.

Vendors and suppliers can exhibit or attend as a Non-Exhibiting Vendor at Annual Conference. Vendor attendees are individuals whose primary responsibilities include: business development; sales and/or marketing as a consultant; representation of a manufacturer, vendor, dealer, distributor; and/or providing restaurant facility-related products and services; and cannot be in competition with RFMA, either directly or indirectly. Entrance to the Exhibit Hall is only open to those industry partners who exhibit at the Annual Conference. This ensures a high buyer/seller ratio. RFMA reserves the right to refuse ineligible registrations.

We have serveral different RFMA 2019 conference hotels in Downtown Austin for attendees and exhibitors to choose from. Please refer to our Hotel & Travel page on the website for more details. Once you have registered for RFMA 2019 you will receive a hotel booking link to make your hotel reservations. 

Please note that a one-night NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be processed by the hotel on January 14, 2019. No refunds will be processed after that date.

You must first register to attend or exhibit at RFMA 2019. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email which will contain a hotel booking link to make your hotel reservations. 

If you are with an exhibiting company, please contact the main contact from your organization to receive your hotel booking link.

Our official RFMA 2019 Annual Conference housing bureau is Key Bookings. The only way to make a hotel reservation with our official housing bureau will be through a hotel booking link provided in an email confirmation. You will receive this email confirmation with hotel booking link after you have registered to attend or exhibit at RFMA 2019. 

*No official RFMA 2019 housing bureaus will reach to you to make a reservation. Please make sure to be aware of potential fraudulent hotel booking companies. 

After you make a hotel reservation (using the link provided in your conference registration confirmation) you will receive an email with an acknowledgement number from the housing bureau and details on your reservation including how to edit or cancel your reservation.

All RFMA 2018 Annual Conference activites, sessions and events are 21 and over.

Ground transportation between the airport and hotels is NOT provided on a complimentary basis. 

There are no scheduled events on Sunday evening after 7:30pm and after 6:30pm on Monday.

Opening Party ticket can be purchased for $99 and a Closing Party ticket can be purchased for $104. All restaurant, exhibitor, non-exhibiting and guest registrations include these events and you do not need to purchase a party ticket. Party tickets are only available to purchase by non-industry persons, such as spouses. 

Yes, a complete listing of all education sessions, including session descriptions and speaker bios, is available under the Sessions & Events tab prior to the conference. All of this information will also be available in our RFMA Annual Conference app, which will launch prior to the conference. 

We are a paperless conference and you will not receive a RFMA 2019 Conference Program Book. You are able to find all of our conference information on our RFMA Annual Conference app and also our conference website. Please refer to the Conference Schedule and Education Breakout Session schedule for times and location of sessions and events.

We are a paperless conference unless otherwise stated in the session descriptions. Speakers with handouts will provide the PDF format via this website and also on the RFMA Annual Conference mobile app. 

The education program for each Annual Conference is finalized prior to August 1st of the previous year. The proposal portal opens in May and stays open through July, specific dates will be posted annually. If you've missed this time frame, consider submitting a topic for a webinar through RFMA's website by clicking here.

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your meeting experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged.  We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned. Jeans are acceptable for the closing night party, but no shorts or flip-flops please.

No. Persons under the age of 21 are NOT permitted to attend RFMA functions and cannot access the Exhibit Hall at any time. ID may be requested if the age of the individual is in question.
