We are very excited to join everyone at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center for RFMA 2020. The safety of our attendees is our top priority and we are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidance surrounding flu season and the Coronavirus. Based on the latest information, we do not anticipate any changes to our conference agenda. The CDC does not currently have a COVID-19 travel health notice for the Continental US. Travelers should always avoid contact with sick people and clean their hands often by washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with 60%–95% alcohol.
We will have multiple hand sanitizing stations onsite throughout the conference. The CDC does recommend practicing good hand hygiene to help lower the risk for contracting a respiratory infection or other contagious illnesses while traveling.
- Handwashing is the single most important infection control measure.
- Avoid touching your mouth, eyes, and nose with unwashed or gloved hands.
- Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds after assisting or touching anyone who’s sick.
- Wash your hands after touching bodily fluids or surfaces that might be contaminated with germs.
- If soap and water aren’t available, the CDC recommends using a hand sanitizer with an alcohol content of 60 to 95 percent.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and look forward to seeing you in Denver!
