RFMA 2022 Session Proposal Submission Form 

All session proposals for RFMA 2022 must be submitted electronically by Friday, October 15, 2021.
 

RFMA is looking for a variety of session proposals to be featured at our RFMA 2022 Annual Conference, March 13-15th at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN. RFMA is looking for sessions that cover a variety of restaurant facilities topics and most importantly provide educational value to our attendees.

All session proposals must be submitted electronically via the system below to be considered. Late and/or incomplete submissions, sales pitches or those that don't speak or bring value to our restaurant facilities audience will not be considered.

 

Who Attends RFMA’s Annual Conference
RFMA’s Annual Conference is attended by restaurant facilities professional nationwide including facility managers, regional facilities managers, directors of facilities, directors of construction, vice presidents of facilities and vice presidents of construction and facilities. These restaurant facilities professionals represent different sectors within the restaurant industry from quick casual to coffee shops and casual dining to fine dining. Our vast Exhibit Hall also allows our conference attendees to connect with vendor service providers from coast to coast that offer a variety of services, products and equipment for restaurants.
 

Session Format and Length
We will be looking for a variety of education sessions for our RFMA 2022 annual conference including panel discussion sessions, deeper dive sessions and hands-on sessions. You may select one of these length options within your proposal submission form. 

  • 8-minute RIF Talk (RFMA version of TED Talks)
  • 45-minute concurrent education session
  • 60-minute concurrent education session
  • 2 hour in-depth session/training



Session Topics

As a fellow restaurant facilities professional, you bring your own experiences and knowledge. When picking a topic, remember you are the subject matter expert and know what type of information needs to be presented in order to be successful. Rules and Requirements
If your session proposal is selected, you will be required to agree and 
accept a speaker letter of agreement, terms & conditions document and our speaker deadlines.

  • If your session is selected, you will be given our official RFMA 2022 PowerPoint template to build your presentation with.
  • The online session submission form below is for industry speakers only. Please do not complete if you are a professional paid speaker.
  • Sales pitches or direct or in-direct product promotion are not acceptable nor appropriate as part of RFMA conference education. If you wish to sell a product or service, RFMA invites you to learn more about becoming a RFMA 2022 exhibitor. Contact exhibitor@rfmaonline.com for more information. 
  • No Exceptions or Preferential Treatment. Topics are reviewed by RFMA’s Conference Curriculum Committee. Decisions on whether the session is approved and accepted or not are based exclusively on relevance of the content submitted and interest and relevancy to RFMA Annual Conference attendees. Preferential treatment will not be given to any applicant regardless of their status as an exhibitor and/or sponsor.
  • The first round of session proposals review is a blind process. RFMA's Conference Curriculm Committee does not know the person or company submitting the session. The committee is looking at the session proposal to see if content is timely, relevant and targets restaurant facilities professionals. 

Speaker Responsibilities

  • All speakers must register for the RFMA 2022 Annual Conference
  • All speakers are responsible for their own travel costs
  • All speakers must meet all posted dates and deadlines
  • All speakers must accept RFMA's Speaker Letter of Agreement and acknowledge the terms and conditions as well as deadlines



Getting Started 

 

Please take the time to submit a thoughtful proposal that clearly articulates the intent of your session. Proposals require clear and concise titles, concise and persuasive descriptions and well-thought-out learning objectives and takeaways.

  • We recommend that you complete the worksheet prior to submitting your online education session proposal through the online system. Completing this worksheet will enable you to gather the information needed from all parties involved in developing the education session presentation prior to inputting online. 
  • You WILL NOT be able to submit an incomplete online session proposal.
  • All RFMA 2022 session proposals must be submitted electronically by Friday, October 15, 2021.
